Two types of customization
These settings control how answers are written. For information about how Wolfia chooses which facts to include, see How Wolfia prioritizes facts.
Editorial Guide
The Editorial Guide defines your organization’s voice. It applies to all AI-generated answers across questionnaires and conversations. What it controls:- Tone and voice (professional vs conversational, first-person vs third-person)
- Formatting preferences (bullet points vs paragraphs, response length)
- Terminology standards (company name usage, abbreviations)
Questionnaire Instructions
Questionnaire Instructions tell Wolfia what to focus on when answering questions. You can set organization-wide defaults that auto-populate for new questionnaires, then customize per-questionnaire as needed. What it controls:- Compliance framework alignment (SOC 2, ISO, NIST)
- Scope restrictions (cloud-only, specific products)
- Detail level (executive summaries vs technical deep-dives)
